Bandai Namco will soon release a ONE PIECE arcade game: ONE PIECE Dawn Strike. It will be on location test from 22 August to 1 September at the Namco Yokohama World Porters Store (Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture). There is no information about the game yet, except for a photo of the arcade machine, which is identical to Taito's Sonic Blast Heroes/Real Puncher 2 and two screenshots that suggest the gameplay is also the same.

Earthion EXA LABEL, the 7th installment of the EXA LABEL series is out today. Earthion was originally planned for release on Genesis/Mega Drive only, but it was later decided to release it on modern platforms as well. As a result, it is now available on Steam and Exa-Arcadia, and will be released on modern consoles in September and on Mega Drive/Genesis newt year. This is a retro 2D shooter from Yuzo Koshiro, and the arcade version is developed by exA-Arcadia's Team-EXA AM6 in collaboration with Ancient staff members, Yuzo's game development studio. Game designer Makoto Wada pushed the 16-bit hardware to its limits, and Mitsuhiro Arita (Pokemon illustrator) designed the poster included in the exA-Arcadia software kit. Yuzo Koshiro himself supervised all 5 soundtracks, covering each of the classic console variants. With Earth’s resources depleted and its environment in ruin, most of the humanity has fled to Mars. However, when hostile invaders launch an attack on the planet, mankind has no choice but to fight back. You can collect 12 different types of weapons and power them to max level by destroy enemies and recover their resources. You can also use secondary weapons and the Hyper to get out of a pinch with temporary invincibility and extreme firepower. As usual with EXA LABEL release, Earthion benefits from a very low input lag (1 frame), a perfect rendition of the original game, enhanced sound featuring 5 soundtracks and new system voices, and 2 game modes (original and EXA Label, including Extreme difficulty and Time Attack options for both modes). There are also new gadgets to keep track of weapon pickups and stage progress and horizontal and vertical monitors support. Resident Evil 2: Dead Shot is an on-rails light gun shooter born from the collaboration between Namco Bandai and Capcom. An early version is in location test at Namco Funscape in Romford (UK). There are 5 episodes and the 2 first (Prologue and Hunted) are playable. The game's visuals are based on the 2019 Resident Evil 2 Remake. In the opening, we see Leon and Claire fighting their way into the Raccoon City Police Department. Unlike most of the modern light gun games, Resident Evil 2: Dead Shot features handgun controllers instead of mounted guns! And when you shoot a zombie, a large amount of red blood split from it.
