Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Nichirin Battle Slash from Konami is available in Japan today. This a game where you collect character cards and use a special controller named Nichirin Sword Controller to battle various opponents. You can perform a variety of attacks by manipulating the Nichirin Sword Controller in accordance with the instructions on the screen. In addition to the Nichirin Sword Controller, there are only two buttons. The controls are very simple and intuitive. You can control famous characters from the series such as Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma and fight against either the Hand Demon or Demon slayers. There are three difficulty levels: Normal Soldier Level, Advanced Soldier Level, and Hashira Level. The Hashira Level level requires quick reactions and is quite challenging. You battle with a team of three characters but by collecting cards you can play with many different characters. Battles are turn-based. When a turn began, you first chose one of three characters and the skill to activate. Once the first and second players have been decided, a roulette will be rolled to decide which player to attack! The roulette has various options, such as Special Attack that can deal super damage, Cooperative Attack where characters work together to attack, Weak attack, Medium attack, Strong attack and Break that can disrupt the opponent's stance. The roulette will stop when you swing the Nichirin Sword Controller. To perform special moves and attacks, you need to quickly swing the Nichirin Sword Controller in the direction of the arrow that appears on the screen. There may also be button instructions, so pay close attention to the instructions and play at the right time: a perfect result will increase the damage. ONE PIECE Dawn Strike is out since July. This game from Bandai Namco is an immersive punching game set in the Great Pirate Era, where you fight characters from the TV anime ONE PIECE with punches. Furthermore, it also features an assist mode for those who have never played a punching game before. With your friend Luffy cheering you on, you can fight enemies like Jay Garcia Saturn and Kaido with your own fists. Sega releaases CHUNITHM Mate today. Beside the usual updated features such as songs, maps, events,... the most important addition is the new animated character Mate. This Mate can be obtained in a special map (Encounters with Mates ep. I) and its facial expressions changes in accordance with the dialogue. Once you set a mate, they tell you your score rank for the song on the results screen. You can visit the mates you've acquired from the newly added Mate Room tab in your USER BOX. By giving cheers as gifts and increasing your intimacy with your mates, you can acquire items such as stage backgrounds and nameplates. 2 new event collaboration with Monster Hunter Wilds and Takopi's Original Sin are held and events with Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Groove Coaster are back. Once certain conditions are met, a new UNLOCK CHALLENGE will appear and you can try two songs. A collaborative music event between maimai Deluxe and Ongeki has also started: playing the target songs in maimai Deluxe or Ongeki will unlock them for play in CHUNITHM as well.

The GlitchCafé opened its doors in Rebecq on May 31st. We're telling you about it because it features numerous Midway arcade machines from the 1990s, such as Mortal Kombat II, Killer Instinct 1 and 2, NBA Jam TE and War Gods, as well as the original The House of the Dead and Time Crisis shooting games, plus Street Fighter Alpha 2, Galaxian and a Vortex SC-14 machine with Puzzle Bobble. In addition to the arcade machines, there’s also an air hockey table and several consoles (NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64, GameCube, PlayStation, PS2, PS3 and Dreamcast) and a racing simulator. As its name suggests, the GlitchCafé is also a café where you can simply have a drink. As for the payment system, it’s a top-up card system, but this time for play time rather than credits. New at the Acinapolis cinema in Jambes (Namur): the opening of a Pathé Games arcade. It is located on the ground floor, directly opposite the entrance to the cinema complex, where the Los Angeles Café used to be. As in most many modern arcades, credits are loaded onto a card which you swipe on the machines you wish to play. The selection is quite varied, featuring air hockey tables, boxers, crane games, numerous redemption games and a few ticket-based pushers. Here, tickets are not physically dispensed from the machines but are stored on your card. You can then use this card at a prize dispenser located outside the arcade. Our only regret is that there are currently only four video games: MotoGP VR, Monster Kart DLX (a Chinese clone of Mario Kart Arcade GP), Monster Jet Riders and Spin City (see the location page for updates). Let’s hope more games will be added later. Dutch company Highlife Amusements is in charge of the machines. The arcade is open during the cinema’s opening hours and is easily accessible by train as it is located next to Jambes station. There is also a large free car park.
